DOUG FIR IS DEAD! LONG LIVE DOUG FIR!
After 19 years, Doug Fir is moving 880 yards away to 301 SE Morrison Street, the previous home of late night gastro hub Le Bistro Montage. The last show at the Burnside location will be September 30, 2023 with hopes to open the new location in mid 2024.
The new Doug Fir will feature 300+ capacity, best-in-class sound and lights, enhanced customer and band parking and load in, expanded dressing rooms, an intimate private bar, and patio.
Doug Fir will continue to be booked by Monqui Presents, the same people that bring you Wonder Ballroom, Grand Lodge, and Edgefield shows.
“We were all sad to hear the news initially, but after viewing the plans for the new space we’re excited for the opportunity the new location will offer. I think bands and audiences will really love it,” adds Doug Fir Marketing Director Annie Ostrowski.
