WALLOWS
WALLOWS
Despite forming less than a year ago, Wallows members Braeden Lemasters, Dylan Minnette and Cole Preston have been playing music together for nearly a decade. The connection is evident in their solid, high-energy live performances. Wallows have just wrapped up a series of sold-out shows at LA's The Roxy and Troubadour, Slim's in San Francisco, Constellation Room in Santa Ana and Mercury Lounge in New York City. Wallows are currently writing and prepping new tracks with plans to release more new music soon.

Wallows sound, an amalgam 90s era alt-rock with a younger modern twist, has received critical attention from Entertainment Weekly, Refinery29 and Teen Vogue. NYLON declared the band's track "Pleaser" an "upbeat, lo-fi indie rock anthem that will have you head-banging into the weekend" and in late May Zane Lowe gave "Sun Tan" its radio debut on Beats1. "Pleaser" has amassed over 5 million collective streams and soared to #2 on Spotify's Global Viral 50 Chart. “Pleaser” has remained a permanent fixture on KROQ’s Locals Only playlist, a collection of the best local music coming out of LA and OC, holding the #1 spot for 2 week straight.
Strange Ranger
Strange Ranger
Strange Ranger (fka Sioux Falls) is an Indie-Rock/Post-Punk band from Montana, now based out of Portland, Oregon. The band was formed by the duo of Isaac Eiger and Fred Nixon, who have been playing music together since 2009 when the pair were still in high school. A friendship solidified by their mutual love of early Modest Mouse, the two would eventually make the move to Portland in search of more fertile musical soil. The band would struggle to solidify over the next few years but those hardships would lead to their breakthrough debut full-length, the sprawling Rot Forever under the name Sioux Falls, released in February of 2016. From there it has been a whirlwind of notoriety for the band. Rot Forever was named one of Consequence of Sound's 'Top 50 Albums of 2016.' Later in 2016 the band would change their name to Strange Ranger and release a new EP, Sunbeams Through Your Head, which would make Stereogum's list of "Great EPs from 2016." Those two releases would also lead Stereogum to name Strange Ranger one of "2016's Best New Bands."
