Kulululu
Kulululu
Kulululu brings out the essence of the DIY movement. Approximating the sound of garage rockers who spent a summer semester at Julliard. Kulululu will melt your face while expanding your mind. More than a band, Kulululu is a state of being. When you ignore common thought and strive to follow your inner vision, you are Kulululu. When a band makes music that combines an art-rock aesthetic with fantastic musicianship and an impossible-to-predict live show, that band is Kulululu.

!mindparade
!mindparade is an American experimental pop project originally formed in Bloomington, IN, and currently based in Portland, OR. Brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Alex Arnold, the live show and recordings combine artpop, psychedelia, math rock, and drone/ambient music with orchestration in explorations of song arc. !mindparade constantly self-records at their home studio, resulting in albums that feature varied stylistic tendencies.

The band self-released it’s debut record Everything Is Happening in 2012, described by NUVO magazine as “an ambitious low-fi bedroom symphony marked by flourishing psychedelic arrangements and dreamy tunes that recall everything from Deerhunter to T. Rex to the Elephant 6 Collective”. The band went on to release the Hero EP (2013) and Dead Mystics (2015) on limited-run tape cassettes and vinyl. Singles from Dead Mysticspremiered on blogs such as Impose as the band embarked on several national DIY tours in promotion of the record. In 2017, !mindparade released Aleatoric Phase LP on Detroit-based micro label Atonuv, which featured two 17 minute tracks of ambient, avant-garde synth explorations. Previously a staple in the mid-west tour scene, the group is currently focused on bringing their journey-like performances to audiences up and down the west coast.
