As an homage to Stumptown Coffee Roaster’s illustrious musical past and present, the coffee roaster releases Worker's Comp Volume II this May. Worker's Comp, Volume I was recorded in June 2001 after hours, live at Stumptown Coffee Roasters on Division. To further continue and support their passion for music, in late 2017, Stumptown gathered together employee's bands from across the country and flew them to Portland to record at The Map Room in Southeast.
Produced by longtime Stumptown friend, Mike Coykendall, 11 bands including Uncle Hornet, Dommengang, Giant Peach, Tamed West and White Glove, recorded original songs for the album. For more information, visit stumptowncoffee.com
Portland's campy, trampy trio Guantanamo Baywatch plays slimy surf-thrash punk in a sweaty, sleazy way; like going to a beach where you shouldn't be barefoot. Sometimes recalling obvious comparisons to surf pioneers like The Trashmen and The Ventures but laced up with Cramps like swagger and even a little Hasil Adkins and Johny Burnett style rock & roll R&B. A wildly popular live band known for their sexed up stage presence. Started in March 2009, Guantanamo Baywatch is comprised of Jason Powell, Chevelle Wiseman and Chris Scott."

"Sitting somewhere in the gulf between My Bloody Valentine and Converge, Broodmare have been described as "loud doodles with some shouty stuff." This is a poor description, but Broodmare is still pretty fond of it."
Self-described as "maximalist indigenous psych," Máscaras are a natural psychoactive agent. One of the headier (yet still earthbound) projects by the extremely prolific Papi Fimbres, the trio is made up of maestros of unforgiving psychedelic bombast with a near-telekinetic synchronicity. Come bear witness to the groove.
