Lo Moon are a three-piece band based in LA who's debut song, a 7-minute sprawling anthem called “Loveless,” is already receiving early love from the likes of NPR Music, KROQ, KCRW, KEXP, Buzzbands LA, and more. The song was recently featured on NPR’s “Heavy Rotation” list for 2016, with notable music programmer Bruce Warren of WPXN calling it “shimmering, immersive, and otherworldly... Loveless is a stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of song.” The song has already had over two million streams since it was released in the fall. The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album and will be releasing a music video by Warren Fu (Daft Punk, Strokes, Killers) for Loveless shortly.
Kraus is the solo project of American experimental musician Will Kraus. He self-released his debut record End Tomorrow in early 2016. Shortly after, it caught the attention of Terrible Records, who re-released it the following September. His rough yet sentimental music typically combines heavily manipulated melodic samples with live instrumentation and vocals. He is releasing his next album Path with Terrible in March. The home recorded album retains the dissonant textures of End Tomorrow, but the melding of such textures with lush guitar chords and more direct vocals produces a heavier emphasis on memorable songwriting. A disparate array of musical influences, ambient drone and 90’s alternative rock among them, produced the album’s borderless sonics, which loom over the primary lyrical themes of dissociation and confusion.
